2. Reminder of CAIMS*SCMAI Special Meeting 18-1-2023

Dear Colleagues,

The CAIMS*SCMAI Special Meeting of members is coming on
Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, 8am PST = 11am EST = 12:30pm NST
There will be voting on four very important motions (items 5-8 in the posted agenda). The first three pertain to the new EDI and Membership committee, and the fourth pertains to a significant reduction in the cost of the society’s financial reporting.

  • Brief (and friendly) summary of the motions

In order to make the special meeting as brief as possible, we would be most grateful if you could spare 20 minutes to look through the previous AGM minutes (pp 3-10 of the Notice), the agenda (which contains the motions), and the summary of the changes to the by-laws (the full by-laws with changes highlighted also appear in the Notice).
