the 2025 International Conference on Spectral and High-Order Methods (ICOSAHOM)
will take place from July 13-18, 2025, in beautiful Montreal, Quebec.
We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to the conference.
We are currently accepting proposals for minisymposia. If you are interested in organizing a minisymposium, please submit your proposal by October 15, 2024

2. Call for nominations: the 2025 CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize, deadline November 1, 2024
The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM), the Fields Institute, and the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS) are now
accepting nominations for the prestigious CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize.
Recognized as the premier research award in Canadian mathematics, the CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize honours individuals who have made outstanding advancements in mathematical research.
The recipient, chosen by a selection committee representing all three institutes, will receive a monetary award and the opportunity to deliver a lecture at each institute within one year of receiving the prize.
The deadline for nominations is November 1, 2024.
We particularly encourage nominations of women and of members of underrepresented groups.
For more information and how to submit a nomination, please find the official announcement at

4. Postdoctoral Position in Data-Driven Methods for Dynamical Systems at Concordia University
Dr. Jason Bramburger and Dr. Simone Brugiapaglia seek to hire one Postdoctoral Researcher to collaborate on producing novel analytical results that justify the performance of data-driven methods for dynamical systems analysis, as well as the application of these methods to complex models and datasets.
A PhD in applied mathematics or a closely related field is required by the start date.
The anticipated start date is September 2025, but this is flexible.

5. The Third Joint SIAM/CAIMS Annual Meeting (AN25)
The 2025 CAIMS Annual Meeting will take place jointly with
the SIAM Annual Meeting,
July 28 – August 1, 2025, Montréal, Québec, Canada,
at Montréal Convention Center.
The Call for Participation is scheduled to be posted in September 2024, at the website
