with a deadline for submissions November 30, 2024 for all but
the doctoral award, which is the only one with deadline January 31, 2025.

3. Dean, Faculty of Mathematics, position, University of Waterloo
The University of Waterloo invites applications, nominations, and expressions of interest for the position of Dean, Faculty of Mathematics with the appointment to be effective July 1, 2025.
The Faculty of Mathematics is one of the largest faculties at the University of Waterloo, ranks among the world’s leaders for the quality and diversity of its research and academic offerings.
The Faculty consists of the Departments of Applied Mathematics, Combinatorics & Optimization, Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science, and the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science.
The consultants will begin review of candidates immediately, with committee consultation beginning in the fall and continuing into 2025. The search will continue until the position is successfully filled. 4. Faculty position in Computational Mathematics, University of Alberta, deadline 5-11-2024
The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of computational mathematics. The start date of the position is July 1, 2025. We offer an excellent research environment with a normal teaching load of 2.5 courses per year. The successful candidate will establish their own research program, supervise graduate students, and teach mathematics at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in applied mathematics or a closely related field completed prior to the start date of this position.
Although the search will continue until the position is filled, applications received on or before November 5, 2024, will be guaranteed full consideration, with a targeted start date of July 1, 2025.
