1. CAIMS*SCMAI 2026 conference, minisymposia, U. of Regina, June 15-19, 2026

The 2026 CAIMS*SCMAI annual conference will take place at the University of Regina from June 15-19, 2026.
This hybrid conference features the following invited conference themes:
1 Machine learning, data-driven modeling
2 Multiscale and Multiphysics systems & simulations of complex systems
3 Mathematical Biology
4 Financial/Actuarial Mathematics
5 Computational Mathematics
6 Applied dynamical systems
7 Fluid Dynamics
Note that The Canadian Symposium on Fluid Dynamics (CFSD),
a biennial event started in 1974, now in the 51+ year,
bringing together Canadian and international researchers in fluid dynamics,
will also take place at CAIMS 2026.

2. Faculty position, Simon Fraser University, considerations start 1 Nov 2025

The Department of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University (SFU) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an expected start date of July 15, 2026.
The successful candidate will build on and complement the strengths of the Scientific Computing, Machine Learning and PDE research group.

4. Faculty position, University of Alberta, considerations start 18 Nov 2025

The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in mathematical finance. The start date of the position is July 1, 2026.
We offer an excellent research environment. The successful candidate will establish their own research program, supervise graduate students, and teach both graduate and undergraduate courses.

with a deadline for submissions Monday, December 1, 2025, for all but
the doctoral award, which is the only one with deadline Monday, February 2, 2026.

The CAIMS*SCMAI journal Mathematics in Science and Industry (MSI) is accepting submissions via the web portal

MSI publishes mathematically innovative research papers and review papers on topics relevant to real-world applications. Submissions in all areas of applied and industrial mathematics are welcome.
